Only one in ten organizations say that more than 80% of its workforce is highly engaged. With employee engagement declining, HR leaders need answers. In this report, 275 HR professionals in almost every industry vertical responded to an employee engagement survey that took place in the third quarter of 2022. When employees are highly engaged, they are almost four times as likely to maintain a positive work culture.

While compensation is a major driver of employee engagement, this report shows that personalizing total rewards packages can increase engagement. In fact, two-fifths believe rewards programs drive up employee engagement. In a recent HR.com webinar, Tripadvisor explained how their new flexible benefits plan increased employee engagement.
