Introducing the Care Wallet

Your life changes. Your benefits should, too.

A more flexible approach to benefits that gives people greater choice in how they care for themselves and the people who depend on them.

A new approach to Care Benefits

Why a Care Wallet?

Employers invest in benefits to support their people. But employees may not know what is available, may not need what is offered, or may struggle to access the support that matters most to them. A benefit can be valuable at one stage of life and irrelevant at another.

The Care Wallet gives every employee more agency and choice.

Employers fund the wallet and define eligible uses. Employees decide how to use those dollars based on their individual needs, whether that means childcare, support for an aging parent, or their own well-being. As life changes, their choices can change with it.

The goal is simple: make the investment employers already make in their people more useful to the people receiving it.

As The Female Quotient’s qualified implementation partner, Forma can provide the technology and operational infrastructure required to configure and deliver flexible care models across participating employers and markets.

Care is part of everyday life

It is also part of what makes work possible. Access to the right support can shape someone’s ability to enter the workforce, stay, and advance.

Benefits built around Real Lives

Five key questions to ask as you design personalized, inclusive caregiving support

The Care Wallet helps employers design support around the realities of their workforce, giving people access to care that meets their needs at every chapter of life.

01
Awareness

Do employees know what is available and where to go when they need support?

02
Utilization

What are employees actually using, and what prevents them from using valuable benefits?

03
Value

Which benefits matter most, including protections they may rarely need but deeply value?

04
Choice

What would employees keep, redesign or exchange for greater flexibility?

05
Unmet Need

What support is missing that could help people work, stay committed, and advance?

Care is economic infrastructure

When women have support for the care responsibilities in their lives, they have more opportunity to participate, lead and grow in the workforce. Our Care Wallet with Forma puts choice in people’s hands, helping employers turn benefits into meaningful support for the lives employees actually lead. This is how we turn a commitment to women’s economic opportunity into action.

One program, many kinds of care

Care looks different for everyone

Employers set the funding and eligible spending categories. Employees choose the support that fits their lives.

For working parents

Childcare

With Forma, employees can access childcare support through a Care Wallet and choose the daycare centers, backup care services, or providers their family already relies on.

Benefits teams manage just one program, with the flexibility to adjust spending categories as workforce needs evolve.

For family caregivers

Adult & eldercare

Forma enables employers to support eldercare and adult dependent care, covering home health aides, adult day services, assisted living costs, and more. Employees get help to cover costs with providers they trust.

For benefits teams, there are no separate platforms, contracts, or vendors to manage.

For every member of the family

Pet care

Pet care can be added as a standalone wallet or a covered category within a comprehensive care benefit. Where included, employees can use their benefit toward eligible vet visits, boarding, grooming, pet food, and more.

Benefits teams can deliver a holistic approach to care without extra point solutions.

For caring for yourself

Well-being

Employees can choose how they use their benefit funds for support across physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.

Forma allows you to provide personalized well-being benefits rooted in employee choice while reducing administrative complexity.

One wallet. More choice.

One employee may need childcare. Another may need help caring for a parent. Someone else may prioritize their own well-being.

The Care Wallet gives employees the flexibility to choose within their employer’s eligible categories and can adjust as needs evolve. Forma brings the technology and administration together in one program, making it easier for employees to access support and for employers to manage it.
